China News Service, August 25. According to a comprehensive report, on August 24, local time, Russia and Ukraine exchanged captured personnel again, each handing over 115 captured personnel to the other party.

According to reports, Ukraine handed over 115 Russian military personnel captured in Kursk Oblast to Russia. RIA Novosti said that these people are receiving necessary treatment and psychological assistance in Belarus and are able to get in touch with their relatives. They will then be returned to Russia to receive treatment and recovery at the Russian Defense Ministry’s medical institutions.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that this personnel exchange was carried out under the humanitarian mediation of the United Arab Emirates.

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on social media on the same day that Russia handed over 115 captured personnel to Ukraine on the 24th, including from the National Guard, Army, Navy, and the State Border Service of soldiers. Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the UAE for its good offices.
